Beth Richardson, Owner, grew up in the resale business. Her mother was a partner at The Silk Purse, a popular consignment shop in Connecticut, for more than 30 years. As a teenager, Beth spent much of her youth behind the counter and countless hours at auction houses throughout New England.
Beth worked as an antique dealer in Manhattan and in Boston before relocating to Roswell. She assumed ownership of The Board of Trade in 2004, moved it to its present location in 2006, and doubled the store size to 7,000 square feet in 2008.
The Board of Trade prides itself on its experienced staff, network of appraisers and its resources to help evaluate your fine consignments. The store employs professional merchandisers to make sure consignments are shown in the best settings.
We are always looking for quality consignments and can handle entire estates or a single item.
