Beth grew up in the resale business--literally. Her mother was a partner at The Silk Purse, a well-known consignment shop in New Canaan, Connecticut, for more than 30 years. Beth worked as an antique dealer in Manhattan and in Boston before relocating to Roswell. She assumed ownership of The Board of Trade in 2004, moved to its present location in 2006, and is doubling store size in the spring of 2008, to over 7,000 square feet.
